Lakeview Personal Trainer
Kaileigh Moertl graduated from North Park University with a B.S. in Exercise Science and a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy. As a collegiate athlete, she put her drive for fitness to the test both on and off the softball field. As a Lakeview personal trainer, she has a calling to help others in the pursuit of living healthier lives and believes that no matter the obstacle or stage of life, anyone can reach their fitness goals. She views fitness holistically and wants clients to succeed in all areas of their life – physically, emotionally, intellectually and mentally – and is committed to helping them achieve the lifestyle they desire. Outside of training, Kaileigh can be found brushing up on fitness research, finding new coffee shops or hanging out at home with friends. But more likely than not, you can find her in the gym!
Q: Why did you become a personal trainer?
A: I became a personal trainer because the idea of helping people lead healthy lifestyles fuels me. I love working out, but more than that, I love challenging others to pursue exercise.
Q: What has been one of your favorite client experiences?
A: I love the look on clients’ faces after totally killing it in a hard workout – pure grit and triumph. It’s an incredible feeling pushing someone through a tough workout and watching them give it their all.
Q: What is your proudest physical achievement?
A: My proudest physical achievement was hitting my PR in squats and deadlifts when I was playing college softball. My junior season was the strongest I’ve ever been and I would love to get back to that.
Q: Why do you love Orange Shoe?
A: We are a tight-knit community here. Everybody cares about each other – trainers, clients, owners – and there is nothing but love and dedication in this studio. We also have a ton of fun and jam to the best playlists in the business.
