About

I was born here in Madison, but lived in Colombia for ten years! My family is Colombian which is why I lived there for some time. I currently go to school at UW-Madison to obtain my BS in Kinesiology with certificates in Psychology and Nutrition. I hope to be admitted to the Physical Therapy Program at UW-Madison after my undergrad. My journey into the health and fitness realm began in my high school years as I loved training and learning about fitness and soccer technique. I began going to school for nursing but felt like it wasn’t “my calling”, so I enlisted in the United States Air Force as a combat medic to find my true path. After working as an emergency medic, I found that I loved the therapeutic and recovery side of medicine and that is when I knew what I was meant to do. I love to teach people about the importance of health and all that entails.

Q & A

Q: Why did you become a personal trainer?

A: I became a personal trainer because I noticed that I wanted to better myself to help others along their fitness journey. The “high” of helping others is incredible.

Q: What has been one of your favorite client experiences?

A: I am excited to be able to influence and help others reach their personal goals, to join them on their fitness journey, and learn from them as well.

Q: What is your proudest physical achievement?

A: One of my proudest physical achievements would have to be graduating at the top of my class with a score of 100/100 in my military physical training test. It was an incredible challenge being away from my family and having the stress of basic training and still being able to perform at very competitive levels.

Q: Why do you love Orange Shoe?

A: I love Orange Shoe because they focus not only on having great workouts for everyone but on connecting with their clients. I love the positive and great energy from everyone on the staff.
