About

Jason is a fitness enthusiast with a background in clinical massage therapy. After getting licensed in massage from the Soma Institute in downtown Chicago, he decided to get his personal training certification from NASM as he had developed a passion for working out and pushing himself physically. After working full-time as a massage therapist for three years, he transitioned to personal training full-time. Jason has always been a big fan of sports, and competition, and is always trying to be on top of all aspects of his health (physical and mental) and overall athleticism.

Q & A

Q: Why did you become a personal trainer?

A: Fitness improved my mental health immensely and I want to be able to share this with those I work with.

Q: What has been one of your favorite client experiences?

A: I trained a client with little to no experience in fitness, and when I reassessed him after a period of time, he improved in all of his aesthetics and strength numbers. Most importantly, he told me personal training positively impacted his self-esteem tremendously and that made me extremely proud of him.

Q: What is your proudest physical achievement?

A: Being able to compete and hold my own in Muay Thai scrimmage competitions.

Q: Why do you love Orange Shoe?

A: The all-around good vibes, lack of egos, and everyone is welcoming and genuinely wants to see the people around them succeed and achieve their goals.
