About
I’m currently pursuing a degree in Kinesiology at UW–Madison with plans of working in healthcare. I’ve always been passionate about movement, exercise, and how the body works, which has guided both my studies and personal experiences. Outside of school, I love running, lifting, and staying active. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that’s hiking, fishing, or playing baseball.
Q & A
Q: Why did you become a personal trainer?
A: I became a personal trainer because I wanted to take what I’ve learned about exercise and movement and use it to help people improve their lives. Fitness has had such a positive impact on me, both physically and mentally, and I want to share that with others. I enjoy teaching, motivating, and seeing peoples growth overtime.
Q: What has been one of your favorite client experiences?
A: One of my favorite experiences was working with a client who initially lacked confidence in the gym and didn't enjoy exercise. Over time by incorporating less traditional ways to move and providing a welcoming and positive environment they began to fall in love with the process. I found this very rewarding and motivational for my own goals and habits.
Q: What is your proudest physical achievement?
A: My proudest physical achievement was earning my Eagle Scout rank while also competing in baseball. Balancing athletics, leadership, and personal growth taught me a lot about perseverance and discipline.
Q: Why do you love Orange Shoe?
A: I love Orange Shoe because of the welcoming and fun environment. I find that I can build meaningful connections with clients beyond just fitness. Additionally, I really enjoy seeing our clients grow and achieve their fitness and health goals overtime.
