Steven is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. He received his Personal Training Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Steven was a high school wrestler and golfer while also participating in weightlifting. Weightlifting became one of his favorite activities to challenge himself and increase his fitness level to a higher level. With his love for weightlifting and his experiences in and out of the gym, Steven’s goal as a Brookfield personal trainer is to help others accomplish their fitness goals any way he can.
Q: Why did you become a personal trainer?
A: I loved weight lifting and I wanted others to enjoy the gym as well.

Katie Michel is a personable and passionate Yoga Teacher dedicated to sharing the benefits of yoga with eager clients. She conducts warm and inviting sessions that foster an invigorating, centering, and calming environment and has an amazing ability to empathize and develop relationships with people of different abilities and backgrounds. She has technical knowledge of active flow, power yoga, and gentle yoga. She prides herself on clear explanation of the benefits of poses with a focus on proper alignment and provides verbal and assisted adjustments to modify and enhance poses based on individual needs. Katie’s taught over 10,000 hours of yoga, small group training and personal training in Fitchburg - and in 7 different countries.
Q&AQ: Why did you become a personal trainer?
A: Growing up I was always involved in sports and loved to move. I wanted to share the passion for movement.

Matthew is a graduate of Luther College with a bachelor's degree in Health and Fitness Promotion. He currently is pursuing his Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Matthew while at Luther College played club rugby, was a student strength and conditioning coach with multiple sports teams and participated in weightlifting. Weightlifting became one of his favorite activities to push himself to achieve his health goals. As a Brookfield personal trainer, Matthew's goal is to relentlessly work with individuals to better understand them and the health goals they would like to achieve.
Q: Why did you become a personal trainer?
A: I became a personal trainer to help people achieve their personal health goals and to assist them with their transformation into the person they want to be.

Scott started his career with Orange Shoe after graduating from UW – La Crosse with an Exercise Sport Science degree and a concentration in Strength and Conditioning and a degree in Education. Scott has been with the Orange Shoe family since 2004 and when he’s not helping clients as a personal trainer in Fitchburg, at the gym or running the business, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids in and around Madison! Scott enjoys any opportunity to create a new memory with his family and friends.

A: I really enjoy teaching and coaching people to become better, whether that be fitness or any other aspect of their life.
